Tesco has unveiled plans for its first joint store with Dobbies, the garden centre business Tesco bought in 2008.
The Kings Lynn development would site an 80,000 sq ft Tesco Extra and a 50,000 sq ft Dobbies under a single roof.
Tesco corporate affairs manager Louise Gosling said the joint store would provide “a unique shopping experience for customers” and be “of great value to the local community”.
Dobbies property director Stuart Wright added: “Following the success of adjacent Tesco and Dobbies stores in Gillingham, we have taken a decision to have the two stores under one roof.
“We believe customers in Kings Lynn will relish the opportunity to visit our new destination as part of the weekly routine.”
