Heinz slips to fourth position in the brand chart to be replaced at number one by Walkers, which gives the snacks category a boost and ensures its entry into the chart this week.
Soft drinks finally relinquishes its hold on the category chart dropping to second place. Frozen dominates and is supported by increased activity on Birds Eye, which is boosted to No 3 in the brand chart. Kellogg rises another place and is particularly strong on price promotions in Asda.
Though gondola ends still dominate the share of promotional space, off fixture displays have been more widely used than in recent weeks.
