Tesco’s Clubcard Boost scheme has reached its 40 millionth booking only 20 months after its launch.
The scheme lets shoppers multiply their Clubcard points for certain special offers on goods in store and online as well as when buying vouchers for Avios air miles, and vouchers for family outings and cinema bookings.
To mark the milestone Tesco awarded a prize to the 40 millionth customer to use Boost. The lucky winner was Mr Ash Habib from Sheffield, who was shopping for flights for a holiday with his wife.
Mr Habib won a pair of return British Airways flight tickets and seven nights’ accommodation at a US or Caribbean destination of his choice.
“This is our way of saying thank you to one of our loyal customers. Boost is incredibly popular and we’re growing at an exciting rate. Our customers love being able to use their Clubcard vouchers to enjoy their summer,” said Tesco UK Clubcard director Rob Graham.
