Tesco has rolled out a range of £1 laundry products from discount supplier Purity Global to 300 of its stores.

The Enrituals line-up, which includes laundry gels, fabric conditioners, and laundry liquids, is being stocked alongside Purity’s Crystale washing machine and dishwasher cleaners.

Tesco is the first major multiple to carry Purity products, although they have also been listed at various discounters.

“Major multiples have been subject to growing pressures from the discount sector in the laundry market,” said Purity founder Brian Matson.

“Our business aims to produce premium-looking products whose performance rivals the big brands’,” he added.
