Sir; Considering the size of Tesco, its leading position and its hi-tech warehousing and supply systems, the least you could expect is well stocked shelves. But, unfortunately when it comes to the store in Elmers End, that appears to be far from the case. There was more empty space on the shelves than products. Meat, chilled pies, mushrooms, milk even down to products like noodle ­ all were suffering from the dreaded out of stock syndrome. Having intended to do a weekly shop, I found myself leaving annoyed and frustrated and forced to make another trip ­ to a rival. Anthony Winterbottom Croydon {{LETTERS }}
