Tesco has boosted its yoghurt drinks range with a raft of new variants, including a first-to-market multivitamin dairy drink.
The new Multi Vitamins orange and lemon flavour yoghurt drink contains vitamins C, E, B1, B6, B2 and B3 and is marketed on its high vitamin content instead of its yoghurt cultures. The drink is available in packs of six 100g bottles (rsp: £1.50).
In addition, Tesco has extended the Mr Men brand - which it already uses in other, non-dairy categories - to yoghurt drinks for the first time. The range comprises three variants and costs £1.25 for six 100g bottles.
health was very important to Tesco customers, especially when it came to their children, said Tesco buying manager for dairy James Renshaw. “Our new Mr Men drinks will be a tasty and healthy addition to packed lunches.”
Other additions to the range include new own-label Breakfast Shots, which contain fruit mixed with cereals, and come in two variants.
The retailer has also added a new multifruit flavour to its Energy Boost range of yoghurt drinks and added a raspberry flavour to its Everyday Health range.
