Tesco has struck a distribution deal with mobile network Lebara Mobile to offer cheap international calls.
Lebara Mobile's airtime is now available in 1,900 Tesco stores while Lebara SIM cards will be available at 90 stores from this month.
"Signing up such a well-known retailer is testament not only to the success we are having in bringing retail partners on board but also to the popularity and value of our offering ," said Robert Gaskin, UK country manager for Lebara Mobile.
Lebara Mobile was founded in 2001 and has 700,000 customers across Europe. It also has contracts with Sainsbury's, Netto, Budgens, Costcutter and Spar.
