Tesco has ramped its loyalty card offer in time for the festive season by linking up with Allders to offer Clubcard points on all goods bought at the department store group.
Clubcard holders will get one point for every £1 spent at Allders or via its web site, which can be redeemed for shopping, cinema tickets or Airmiles.
Allders chief executive Harvey Lipsith said the deal would link Allders up with 10 million Tesco shoppers and was part of its strategy to reposition the business “to make it more contemporary and appealing to customers”.
