Tesco has acquired a 91% stake in internet radio service WE7.
The £10.8m acquisition would offer customers a wider choice in how they listened to music, Tesco said.
The follows Tesco’s acquisition of online movie provider Blinkbox in April last year.
Tesco is not the only supermarket chain buying online businesses. On Tuesday, Sainsbury’s acquired HMV Group’s 64% stake in online e-book retailer Anobii for a £1.
