Thatchers Cider has promoted Colin Todd to the position of sales director.
Todd joined the Somerset-based cider producer as sales manager last October and has worked to develop its off-trade listings in key accounts. He will now add the on-trade to his responsibilities. Previously, Todd spent 18 years with Taunton Cider and latterly Matthew Clark.
Managing director Martin Thatcher said: “Colin contributes a wealth of experience and industry knowledge, and we are looking forward to exciting and challenging times ahead.”
Todd added: “I am looking to build on the success that Thatchers has experienced in recent years. The demand for Thatchers fine ciders is spreading throughout the UK -- our Single Varietals can be found throughout the country and our draught ciders are enjoying outstanding success.”
