Green Goblin cider is joining the Thatchers portfolio in a new deal with the brand's owner, Marston's.
Thatchers will take over sales, marketing and distribution for Green Goblin from the end of March. It started producing the cider three years ago for Green Goblin's original owner, Wychwood Brewery, which was bought by Marston's in 2008. The two companies would continue to work closely together, said MD Martin Thatcher.
The oak-aged Green Goblin cider will be repackaged in Thatchers-branded bottles and a consumer marketing campaign will follow later this year.
