The Collective Dairy is gearing up for its biggest round of NPD since its 2011 launch with a raft of new flavours and a plain yoghurt variant.
Plain Jane (500g) comprises the yoghurt base - sweetened with honey - that The Collective uses in its flavoured yoghurts.
“People love the flavours but also the texture of our yoghurt and want to be able to do their own thing,” said marketing director Amelia Harvey.
The Collective would market the new variant by celebrating “everything to do with people called Jane” through social media, she added.
Accompanying the launch of Plain Jane are two new flavours: Banoffi and white peach & raspberry. Both will come in 170g size pots.
Plain Jane and white peach & raspberry will go into Waitrose and Ocado from 11 March. Banoffi will launch in Sainsbury’s at the end of April.
The Collective has also launched a limited-edition papaya & coconut yoghurt to replace Mighty Mango. Rolling out now across all retailers that previously stocked Mighty Mango, it contains desiccated coconut and papaya compôte.
