The shortlist for The Grocer Gold Awards has been unveiled.
Recognising outstanding service, initiative and commitment in UK grocery retailing across 27 categories, including the Store Manager of the Year, Brand of the Year, Wholesaler of the Year, Symbol Retailer of the Year and The Grocer of the Year.
This year we have added two new categories: the Entrepreneur of the Year and Specialist Online Retailer of the Year, as well as tweaking the criteria of the Britain’s Favourite Supermarket accolade - voted for by the public rather than judged by experts as the other awards are - to better reflect the importance of convenience, provenance and good customer focus.
The winners will be announced on Tuesday 10 June at the spectacular Guildhall, London, in a ceremony hosted by actor Stephen Mangan, best known for his roles in television series Green Wing and Episodes.
