The Grocer’s new navigation is simpler and more user-friendly

The Grocer has updated the navigation on its website to make it easier and more intuitive to use.

Our main navigation features at the top of all pages on thegrocer.co.uk.

The refresh has organised The Grocer’s award-winning content in new ways that aim to enhance your browsing experience, making it easier and quicker to find the stories you most want to read.

Articles about supermarkets, online retailers and other routes to market are organised under the new ‘Retail & Wholesale’ tab.

Stories about FMCG brands, own label ranges, product categories and manufacturers come under the new ‘Products & Suppliers’ tabs.

The Grocer’s exclusive category reports, rankings, and other intelligence-led reporting can be found under the ‘Reports & Data’ tab, This includes the Grocer 33 mystery shopper and price comparison surveys as well as the Key Value Items Tracker.

We have also introduced a new ‘Topics’ tab, making it easier to find content, which has been curated under the most popular and important topics. In addition, you will be able to browse more than 60 categories to find the content that interests you.

Our ‘People’ and ‘Events’ tabs remain the same as under the previous navigation.

Future-proofing

Our new navigation has been implemented in conjunction with feedback from readers to make it simpler and more accessible. It also reflects the changing landscape of the fmcg industry.

We’ve introduced detailed landing pages for specific types of article, making it easier to access not just the latest news, but features and analysis, rankings, category reports, interviews and comment pieces.

Your feedback is important to us. After you’ve had a chance to explore the new navigation, we’d love to hear your thoughts. Please share your feedback here
