Homecare challenger The Lab Co has unveiled a 12-strong lineup of aromatherapy candles made from 100% natural soy wax.
The range comprises four variants. Relaxing offers notes of lavender, jasmine and cotton; Energising promises grapefruit, eucalyptus and amber; Refreshing boasts notes of lime, cucumber and peppermint; and Soothing proffers white rose, chamomile and linen.
Each is available in reusable 90g and 180g tins, with respective burn times of 20 hours and 30 hours, as well as a 280g ceramic pot that lasts for 45 hours (rsps: TBC).
The new candles will be available from next week. They had been “developed over 547 days with an expert perfumery”, said The Lab Co. They are paraffin-free and made with “clean and sustainable essential oils”.
Founded in 2020 by entrepreneur Joshua Gilbertson, the fast-growing Lab Co aims “to bring wellbeing to people’s everyday care routines”. It combines natural, plant-derived and biodegradable ingredients with scientific methods to create “formulations that deliver powerful results without nasty chemicals”.
Launches last year included Fabric & Room Spray, All Purpose Cleaner, and Washing Up Liquid.
The additional of its candles come just weeks after rival homecare brand Bio-D unveiled its handmade Yorkshire Rhubarb Candle in a tin.
