Online retailer The Whisky Exchange has claimed an industry first with a series of three limited edition tipples branded with lenticular labels that give the impression of 3D images.
The three drinks, called Past Future, Present Future and The Future, are limited edition bottlings of single malt from Ben Nevis (21yo), Ledaig (12yo) and a 44yo single grain from Invergordon respectively.
They mark the first time lenticular labels have been used on whisky bottles, which the retailer said “gives each label a feeling of depth and movement”.
Just 144 bottles have been made of Past Future, 636 of Present Future and 246 of The Future.
They are priced at £130, £74.95 and £250 respectively, and will be available online via the retailer or at its stand at trade show The Whisky Show in the first week of October.
