South Yorkshire also claimed the Top Store prize this time last year, when Asda Handsworth in Sheffield dazzled our shopper with excellent customer service.
Last year's scorching early spring prompted a shortage of stock of garden furniture at the 120,000 sq ft store and store manager Phil Reddyhoff (left) was struggling to keep up with demand.
Twelve months on and Reddyhoff has left the business but his replacement Marc Edwards has been facing similar weather-related pressure.
"Juices, yoghurts and outdoor furniture are hugely popular and although England did not qualify for Euro 2008, we expect beer to sell well anyway - especially if this heatwave continues."
