Morrisons in Bredbury, Stockport, won the Top Store award this time last year. Store manager Chris Menon (left) put its success down to a strong focus on availability, stating it was a number one priority for shoppers. Since then Menon has moved on to a store in Failsworth, Greater Manchester, with Julian Westnage stepping into his shoes last July. "We have had a great year here at this store," said Westnage. "Sales have risen, we have more shoppers through the door and availability is much better than it was.
"I love my job and the focus here is teaching people about the way we run things in store.
"We don't have an us-and -them attitude with staff and management - we're all one big team."
