Fortnum & Mason has expanded its board with the appointment of three new directors to help grow its food and wine, celebration and entertainment business areas.
Simon Burdess and Emma Prince will become the directors of buying.
Burdess moves from Marks and Spencer where he was category manager for the Café Revive concept and had responsibility for its rollout to 190 branches. He had also been buyer for delicatessen and snacking and sandwiches. Prince had previously worked at the John Lewis Partnership for 17 years, and was most recently buyer for rugs. She has also been assistant general manager for its Peter Jones department store.
Alison Jordan was previously Molton Brown’s first director of marketing and will join Fortnum & Mason as marketing director. Her previous roles have included business development and food marketing for Warner Bros and Marks and Spencer.
