Foodservice yoghurt supplier Tims Dairy is celebrating 60 years in business with a move into retail.
Its new posh, health-orientated yoghurts range, which rolls out to selected Budgens stores next month, includes a selection of Greek-style wholemilk and low-fat yoghurts, available in both natural and fruit variants. They contain no artificial colours, additives or preservatives and are priced from 58p for a 150g portion to £1.70 for a 450g pot.
Tims Dairy, which claims its sales increased 20% to £6m last year, predicted first-year retail sales of the range would hit £500,000.
