Barr Soft Drinks is splashing out £300,000 on a cinema-related promotion for Tizer over the Easter holiday period.
The in-cinema part of the campaign includes foyer TV, on-screen credits and sampling in UCI cinemas.
The campaign will run through all the teen (under 18s) films over the Easter holiday break.
An instant win on-pack promotion will give Tizer drinkers the chance to win one of 5000 UCI cinema tickets.
This will be backed up by radio, e-mail messaging and door-to-door leafleting.
The entire promotion lasts for two months.
Barr quotes 12-week figures from ACNielsen that show a 6.5% sales growth for Tizer (for the 12 weeks ending January 27 2001 compared with the 12 weeks ending 24 January last year).
