Toothpaste adverts have been slammed by the Advertising Standards Authority for claiming the support of dentists.
Colgate Palmolive’s advert for Colgate Sensitive prompted the ASA to rule that the company should change all advertising implying dentists supported the brand.
GlaxoSmithKline’s Sensodyne also fell foul of the censors for suggesting a dentist approved its use.
