Mars is extending the reach of Twix with the launch of a new biscuit line called Twix Top.
It has a rectangular shape, is one biscuit rather than Twix's usual two, and has a biscuit base covered with caramel and milk chocolate. Twix Top is a permanent line extension following instore trials. It is available in packs of six (rsp 79p) and is aimed at adult snacking and kids lunchboxes. A nationwide sampling campaign kicks off in August, followed by an outdoor ad campaign at the end of September to coincide with back to school.
