Health and organic food distributor Tree of Life has launched its own brand of bottled spring water.
Tree of Life Penning Spring Water is sourced from a protected area in the Wiltshire hills. It is available now in 500ml (rsp: 35p) and two-litre (rsp: £1.15) bottles.
Tree of Life said the launch was in response to the continuing growth of bottled water. UK consumers bought 1.06 billion litres of it in 2014 - spending £401.9m, almost £50m more than the previous year [Kantar 52 w/e 4 January 2015].
“The growth of the bottled water market in the UK has been staggering,” said marketing manager Kirsten Sowerby.
“We’re sure the taste and mineral composition of Tree of Life spring water will prove popular, and we’re pleased to launch it at a price point that provides fantastic value for both retailers and consumers.”
