A trio of experts with more than 100 years of experience in the convenience sector have teamed up to launch a consultancy to support the industry.
John Heagney, Mike Igoe and Jonathan Rons have formed the C-Store Collective.
The trio has 114 collective years of experience in the industry, with Rons best known for his time at My Local Convenience Group and as a senior client director at consultancy Him. Heagney was group symbol director at Nisa for more than 13 years, and ran the Heagney family c-store business earlier in his career. Meanwhile, Igoe was formerly commercial director at Heron Foods for five years, retail director at PayPoint for five years and spent almost 30 years at William Jackson Food Group, where he ended up as retail director.
The new joint venture is designed to support suppliers, retailers and brands, with the aim of “increasing sales and furthering the success and momentum of the c-store sector”.
The C-Store Collective’s services include business coaching and consulting, study tours, site acquisition and development plans, as well as offering direct contact with associated experts.
The associates will provide insight and guidance in a variety of areas for c-store management teams, including licensing, marketing, data analysis, category advice and store operations.
“We’re thrilled to be able to bring our collective knowledge together,” said Rons. “From inception to reality, it became apparent how much we complement each other.”
