Meat processor Tulip has started a 45-day consultation at its King’s Lynn site, which could see up to 118 jobs cut.
The cuts are part of a restructure at the Danish Crown-owned business, which posted losses of almost £22m for the year to 30 September. The working week will be cut from seven days to five.
“Our Kings Lynn facility has suffered from a significant fall in production volumes and continues to make a loss on a weekly basis,” said Tulip CEO Steve Francis.
