Turner Price has appointed Paul Brittain as its new managing director following the company’s acquisition into the Caterfood Buying Group.
Brittain will step up from his role as company finance director, which he has occupied since 2002.
Former Turner Price MD John Gould has moved to an advisory role supporting the senior management team, after leading the company for 27 years.
“Following a successful transition into the Caterfood Buying Group, I am confident that Turner Price has an exciting future ahead,” said Brittain.
“Turner Price has been a significant part of my life since 2002, and it is an honour to take on the role of managing director.
“Our greatest asset is our people – their expertise, dedication, and passion are the foundation of our success. We are fortunate to have a loyal customer base and strong partnerships with valued suppliers. Maintaining our trusted service and relationships will remain our top priority.”
Caterfood Buying Group MD Phil Atyeo said: “We have been very impressed with Paul’s support during the transition period of Turner Price joining the Caterfood Buying Group.

Turner Price left Country Range Group to become the eighth member of Bidcorp-owned Caterfood Buying Group in July.
