Unilever hopes to repeat the success of Surf Twilight Sensations with the £5.3m launch of fabric conditioner version Comfort Twilight Sensations.
The two scented liquid concentrates, Jasmine & Black Gardenia and Vanilla & Black Orchid (rsp: £1.89 per 750ml bottle), are designed to work in conjunction with Surf Twilight Sensations and will hit shelves later this month.
Since launching four months ago, Surf Twilight Sensations have notched up £1.6m sales, said Christine Winton, brand executive for Comfort.
"By launching Comfort Twilight Sensations to complement Surf Twilight Sensations we are offering consumers the fragrance benefits of using a matching mainwash detergent and fabric conditioner, as well as giving retailers the opportunity to increase cross-sell," she said.
A £5.3m media support campaign will feature TV, press and outdoor ads and will kick off early next year.
