Kraft Foods is claiming a first with the launch of a new biscuit range for breakfast.
Belvita Breakfast biscuits, made under Kraft’s Nabsico brand, are rich in cereals, vitamins and fibre and released carbohydrates over four hours to “keep you going all morning”, said Kraft biscuit director Jos McNulty. The range had already achieved “huge success” in creating a new segment in the French market, she said.
The milk & cereals and fruit & fibre biscuits cost £2.19 for a 300g box or 49p for an on-the-go 50g pack.
