Tesco is listing one of three prosecco sparkling wines from Italy that are being launched in the UK by Intercontinental Brands (ICB). Bella Veroni Vino Frizzante comes in a blue bottle with a traditional prosecco cork and cord closure and is selling for £3.99. ICB is also selling Prosecco Vino Frizzante under its Italian Job table wine brand, priced at £3.99, and La Cave des Rois Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Vino Spumante Extra Dry at about £7.99. "Prosecco has a good chance of being the next fashionable wine style," said John Hibberd, ICB's joint MD. "It is the house sparkling wine in a lot of fashionable bars."
