Unilever is gearing up for the festive season with new and revamped personal care gift packs.
New for this year is a Tresemmé 7 Day Smooth System pack that contains shampoo, conditioner and treatment alongside a paddle brush (rsp: £20), while Radox is hoping to entice shoppers with a Fresh & Fruity collection featuring two shower products together with a lolly-inspired sponge (rsp: £6).
Another seasonal first is a Dove Men + Care gift pack that comprises the brand’s dual-sided ‘shower tool’, a body & face wash and antiperspirant (rsp: £8).
Lynx Black has been extended with a washbag gift set that contains body spray, shower gel and shampoo (rsp: £12.50), while Lynx Dark Temptation is available in a gift pack containing a trio of products - shower gel, body spray and antiperspirant (rsp: £10).
The line-up would provide retailers with gifting products that would appeal to a wide variety of consumers, said James Griffin, category director for skin cleansing & gifting.
Dove’s premium mass skincare offering Dove DermaSpa, introduced in August, has been expanded with a three-strong pampering washbag for the festive season that contains lotion and hand cream (rsp: £12), while Unilever is hoping to build on the “incredibly successful” collaboration between Toni & Guy and British designer Matthew Williamson last year with a limited-edition bag for this year that features shampoo, conditioner and a styling product (rsp: £12).
