Unilever has unveiled a new corporate logo with which it plans to brand all of its goods by the end of next year.

The Anglo-Dutch company has spent around £6.7m on developing and marketing the logo.

The design of the logo is a composite of 25 miniature icons which represent the different aspects of the company’s business.

Speaking at his last AGM Unilever chairman Niall FitzGerald said: “Our old logo is reliable, solid, distinguished, and we don’t want to lose those characteristics. But it is not, perhaps open enough to be introduced into everything we make. So it will change so it can speak of vitality.”
