Group business development manager at Uniq, James Averdieck, has become the managing director of new specialist desserts company Rensow.
The company is a joint venture between Averdieck and Rensow Patisserie.
The business will be focused on the retail market for premium desserts and chilled patisserie. Averdieck joins Rensow after spending nine years at Uniq/St Ivel in several senior commercial roles in the UK and on continental Europe.
Before Uniq, he worked at Safeway for three years as a strategy manager and a marketing manager.
Rensow will launch its first range of premium chocolate puddings, branded Gü, in the spring.
