Dairy Crest has gained distribution for Utterly Butterly Lightly, with new listings in Morrisons and The Co-operative.
The rival to Unilever’s I Can’t Believe It’s Not butter Light launched into Tesco stores last month. It went into Morrisons and The Co-op on Tuesday (12 February)
The spread (rsp £1.80 for a 500g tub) contains a38% fat content, the same as ICBINB Light.
Dairy Crest claims it meets the needs of consumers looking for a healthier product that still offers value for money and doesn’t compromise on taste.
Dairy Crest said 44% of consumers were now actively looking for a butter or spread lower in satfat [Kantar Worldpanel 25 November 12].
