Sinclair Condiments has appointed Uwe W Klenk as a non-executive director.
Klenk has more than 30 years’ experience in global retail and fmcg roles, including time as the CMO for Walmart US/International and European managing partner for retail at Alvarez & Marsal, and is currently CEO and founder of UK and Partners.
The sauce and condiments brand, which recently gained listings in 225 Morrisons stores and Holland & Barrett online, hopes its latest appointment will bring NPD and partnerships with new retailers.
“We’re an incredibly ambitious company, and we’re delighted to have Uwe on board,” said managing director Nik Sinclair. “His knowledge and expertise in the global retail and fmcg sector are second to none and with his help we are looking at gaining significant retail listings both here and abroad.”
Klenk added: “When approached by Sinclair Condiments, it was obvious it had big plans for the brand, and a great product range. My expertise will help it accelerate growth into global markets.”
Sinclair Condiments makes a range of six sauces and condiments: Hot Banana Ketchup, Smokey Chipotle Ketchup, Roasted Red Pepper Ketchup, Jalapeño & Lime, Scotch Bonnet, and Smokey Naga.
