Chilean wine brand Valdivieso is being relaunched in May.
Bibendum, the wine's UK distributor, plans to support the launch of a number of new wine styles under the brand's banner with a substantial trade and consumer marketing programme including press advertising. A national consumer campaign will also start in the summer when the wines become available.
The relaunch follows investment in Bibendum's vineyards and the cellar, as well as extensive brand repositioning and a package redesign. Dan Jago, MD at Bibendum, said: "These wines, which are at the forefront of innovation and quality, have been researched extensively and successfully with our target consumers.
"We will continue to invest heavily in the brand in order to support our listings and to ensure that Valdivieso continues to lead the Chilean category forward."
The new-look range will feature a series of wines from the 2002 vintage including a Valdivieso Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay 2002, plus two wines from 2000 in the Valdivieso Single Vineyard Reserve range.
