Volvic is to unveil a digital billboard that will give shoppers the chance to win prizes by squashing virtual fruit.
For two weeks from Monday (20 May), visitors to the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent will be encouraged to squash as many falling apples as they can on a giant touchscreen. Each on-screen apple crushed will fill a virtual bottle of Volvic Juiced, and all players will be given a free bottle of the drink. Some will be selected at random to win prizes including Frisbees, Super Soakers and underwater cameras.
From this week, Volvic Facebook fans have been able to win prizes including a surfing trip and an aqua zorbing session through a Juiced Burst game designed by We Are Social.
“This summer we wanted to give consumers a way to connect with Volvic Juiced in a new way both on and offline,” said Volvic senior brand manager Jon Marchant, “so we decided to take the drink into the gaming world, both on Facebook and for Bluewater shoppers.”
