Waitrose is set to call time on its Pick Your Own Offers loyalty initiative.
A report this morning in The Guardian said Pick Your Own Offers, which forms part of its overall loyalty scheme, would be axed by the end of February because of complaints from shoppers that it is too confusing.
The promotion, launched in June 2015, gives shoppers with myWaitrose cards 20% off the cost of 10 chosen products from more than 1,000 possibilities.
Waitrose is thought to be planning to invest more “in tailored vouchers and personalised offers sent through the post or at the checkout”.
A Waitrose spokesman said: ”We will be contacting all myWaitrose members on Thursday about how they can make savings more easily on the products they buy most often.”
