Waitrose has revamped its online shop in an effort to make it easier to navigate and buy regularly purchased items.
The e-commerce site went offline yesterday while Waitrose updated the site and today the new-look shop went live.
The new features include a ‘multi-search jotter’ that allows customers to search for up to 50 items at one time and add them to their basket.
Customers can also compile a favourites list by clicking on a green heart icon next to each product and look through their previous order to add regularly purchased items.
During the shop, products in the shopping basket appear in a list on the right-hand side of the screen so unwanted items can easily be removed.
Before check-out, customers are reminded of typically bought items that may have been forgotten and incomplete multi-buy offers are highlighted.
