Sir; Nice to see Asda opening another colossal store at Patchway in Bristol, though it's a pity we don't at the same time see a large increase in the quality of fresh produce, meat and bakery products displayed on its shelves. One could say the same about Tesco, Sainsbury and Safeway.
I suspect we will go down the same road as the States with bland looking outlets selling products manufactured everywhere except the UK and labelled American style.
We must be the only country in Europe that pays extra for a tomato with flavour!
Keep up the good work on the quality front Waitrose and Marks & Spencer.
