Walkers has recruited some of Britain's best known comedians, including Stephen Fry and Jimmy Carr, to launch a new range of crisps, The Grocer can exclusively reveal.
The PepsiCo company is rolling out the limited edition flavours next Wednesday to support Comic Relief, which is happening on 18 March.
Along with Fry and Carr, Al Murray and Frank Skinner will appear on the packaging and in a supporting TV campaign to encourage consumers to buy the comedian¹s self-styled crisps.
The range comprises Stephen Fry Up, Steak And Al Pie, Frank Roast Dinner and Walkers Jimmy Con-Carne. Five pence from the sale of every pack will go to Comic Relief and Walkers expects to raise at least £1m from the activity.
