Specialist toffee maker Walkers Nonsuch, which makes traditional toffee bars and twist-wrapped toffees, has appointed three new directors, all from the Walker family.
Managing director Ian Walker's daughters Katie and Emma Walker and nephew Edward Walker have all been promoted to the company's board of directors.
Edward will be responsible for production, Katie for UK sales and Emma for marketing, public relations, advertising and export sales. All have worked for the company for more than 20 years.
"This is a positive move for the company," said Ian Walker, himself the grandson of Walkers Nonsuch founder Edward Joseph Walker. "Looking to the future, this can only further strengthen our position in the toffee market."
Emma Walker added: "It is a very exciting time for us. We will all pull together and I am sure we will benefit from taking on board each other's suggestions and experience."
