Wall’s has reformulated its core pork sausages as part of a brand overhaul that has also seen it roll out new packaging across its six sausage and bacon SKUs.
The sausages have been given an extra 10% meat, darker colour and a crumblier texture - and sage seasoning has been made more visible through the skin - but would retain the “same strong signature profile consumers know and love”, said Jessica Lamb, Wall’s brand manager for Wall’s, adding the changes would “reignite love for the great British banger”.
Darker blue packaging will appear across six chilled meat SKUs - including Wall’s bacon - to “elevate their quality credentials”. Wall’s also launched a Fire-Grilled Cumberland Ready Baked variant (rsp: £2/275g) this month.
“We felt the time was right to refresh and relaunch the brand to ensure it continues to meet the needs of today’s shoppers,” said Lamb.
