Food Brokers is moving into the healthy snacks market by launching what it claims is the "world's top-selling crispbread brand" into the UK market.
The sales and marketing specialist has been been appointed by Wasa to introduce a range of six premium Swedish crispbreads to British consumers. Its aim will be to take on market leader Ryvita.
Ed Bacon, group marketing controller at Food Brokers, said: "Wasa is the original crispbread having been manufactured since 1919. With worldwide sales of more than £120m, it brings quality to a fast-growing category and is certain to make a very strong impression in the market."
