More than twice as many people find magazines more enjoyable than web sites, according to Absorbing Media, a PPA study of media usage and attitudes which will be launched later this month.
The PPA found that 52% of respondents who use both magazines and web sites enjoy the magazine experience more than using a web site. Only 24% found web sites more enjoyable.
Similarly, 64% of respondents found reading magazines to be more relaxing than reading on web sites, while 12% felt more relaxed using web sites.
