Weetabix is hoping to inspire the nation to ‘rise from the sofa’ with a £3m TV push and an on-pack promotion that sees the cereal brand team up with three top sports stars: heptathlete Denise Lewis, football’s John Barnes and Wales international rugby player George North.
The Summer of Sport campaign kicks off at the end of June with an on-pack promotion across Weetabix’s entire cereal product portfolio. Every pack will offer a free sports session together with a chance to unlock a top tier ‘money can’t buy’ reward. Other prizes include training sessions with Lewis, Barnes and North, family bike sets, and gym memberships.
The television ad airs from 1 July.
