WH Smith has opened its third store in partnership with Bestway-owned Well Pharmacy.
The store, which opened at London Euston railway station last week, combines news, books, convenience products, electrical accessories, health and beauty products and a pharmacy.
While the store does not fill prescriptions, customers will be able to benefit from advice from a qualified in-store pharmacist.
WH Smith opened its first store with a Well Pharmacy at Gatwick airport in April 2019 and added a second at Heathrow last August.
“We’re delighted to have opened our first combined WH Smith and pharmacy format in rail at London Euston station,” said WH Smith Travel MD Andrew Harrison.
“Making our customers’ journeys easier is our passion, and this new store really does provide the best in convenience retail with a one-stop shop solution for passengers on their journey through the station. We have received great feedback from customers on the new store environment, product range and services offered, and we look forward to welcoming more customers over the coming months.”
Well operations director Louis Purchase said: “We’re really pleased to be able to support the health of people travelling through one of the busiest train stations in Europe. Our partnership with WH Smith will ensure people on the go have access to healthcare essentials.”
