Bavaria UK, the producer of Dutch beer brands Bavaria beer, Bavaria Malt and La Trappe, has appointed Roy Williams to the newly created role of sales manager for Scotland.
Williams will be responsible for all sales of the Bavaria portfolio in the region.
He joins Bavaria UK from Interbrew, where he worked for 16 years in a variety of sales roles in Scotland for the take-home sector, latterly as national account manager. Williams said: “I was attracted to the role at Bavaria UK as it presents a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the brand in Scotland. By focusing on the Scottish marketplace, I can meet the needs of the region’s beer sector and progress sales opportunities for Bavaria beer.”
Mike Teague, sales director for Bavaria UK, added: “Roy is a great asset to our team and, with his extensive background in the sector, I am sure he will be successful in his role.”
