Data giant Dunnhumby has launched a lite version of Promotions Workbench that gives suppliers access to information about Tesco promotions specifically relevant to them.
Workbench Snapshot includes league tables of suppliers’ promotions to show how they sit within their category, as well as comparisons showing the depth of promotions and the amount of featured space versus rivals.
Weetabix has signed up as the first client.
“This will lead to an improved shopping experience for customers,” said Tesco commercial director John Scouler. “Dunnhumby’s promotional solutions help us work towards this, in partnership with manufacturers.”
