Unilever has appointed Jerry Wright brand director for Birds Eye in a restructure designed to increase consumer focus and drive a more brand-led strategy.
He replaces marketing director for frozen foods Chris Pomfret, who has been transferred to Unilever's Environment Group.
Wright will be responsible for all aspects of brand development for the Birds Eye frozen food business. He has worked for Unilever for almost 20 years.
Previous jobs have included Unilever category director for laundry and for hair care innovation, south-east Asia.
Pomfret was chairman of Unilever's marketing executive committee.
Jacqui Hill, marketing director for personal care at Lever Fabergé, has replaced him as leader of the group.
